Copyright notice

A notice must include all of the following:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed. If the notice covers several works, a representative list
  • Identification of the material you claim is infringing, and enough information for us to find it, including the product URL
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act for the owner

Send the notice to [email protected] with the subject line “DMCA notice.” Incomplete notices may delay removal. We may also forward the notice to the person who posted the material.

What we do

After we receive a complete notice, we remove or disable access to the listed material and notify the account holder when we have one. Repeat infringement can lead to a permanent block from the site. We may also remove a listing while we review a credible trademark complaint, even though trademark claims are not DMCA notices.

Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice that includes:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that was removed and the URL where it appeared
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district of your address, or if you are outside the United States, for any judicial district in which Ecomcht LLC may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice

Send counter-notices to [email protected] with the subject line “DMCA counter-notice.” If the original complainant does not file a court action within the period the DMCA allows, we may restore the material.

Misrepresentation

Under the DMCA, a person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. This policy does not replace legal advice.
